Hot work tool steel
Due to its excellent toughness and resistance to softening under high temperatures, this steel is used in hot work/warm work forging, die casting, and more recently, in hot stamping molds.

Using in place of SKD61, optimal for improving life of dies with problems of heat checks and wear.

Features
AUD91 is a prehardened steel tempered before secondary hardening in advance.
During forging process, the forged material heat is utilized for precipitation hardening of the die surface to improve wear resistance.
